Criminal Psychological Analysis of Human Trafficking Based on Cross-Border Telecom Fraud—— Take Myanmar Myawaddy Fraud Park as an Example

Cross-border telecom fraud has evolved into a highly organized and violent compound crime. Among them, there is a widespread phenomenon of factual human trafficking in fraud parks with Myawaddy and other areas as the core. Victims are abducted, restricted in freedom and forced to participate in fraud activities under the lure of "going abroad with high salaries". This study adopts the interactive model of "environment-cognition-behavior" constructed by social cognitive theory, analyzes how criminal organizations shape the control chain through institutional layout and psychological discipline, and focuses on the systematic manipulation process of the victim's psychology in the process of committing crimes in fraud parks, including hope bias, cognitive dissonance, learned helplessness, emotional misunderstanding and conformity, etc., and deeply analyzes the psychological path of the victim's transformation from "cheated" to "accomplice" and reveals its existence. On this basis, this paper puts forward the corresponding intervention mechanism and institutional coping strategies, aiming at promoting the precise governance of this new type of crime and transnational anti-trafficking cooperation.
